Dedicated to what cannot be measured
Founded in 1988, in Nova Odessa (SP), Metroval was born with the purpose of developing reliable industrial measurement solutions, combining engineering, accuracy and technical responsibility. From the beginning, its performance has been linked to demanding industrial sectors, such as chemical, pharmaceutical and food, always focusing on custom-developed systems.
In the 1990s, the company took a decisive step by signing a technical collaboration agreement with a German company for the transfer of Coriolis mass meter technology, acting in a pioneering way in Brazil. During this period, it also became one of the first companies in the sector to achieve ISO 9000 certification, consolidating its processes and quality standards.
Also in the 90s, Metroval expanded its presence in the Oil & Gas market, starting to operate in onshore fields, offshore platforms and in the CNG and LPG segments. At the end of the decade, it began exporting its products, expanding its international operations.
From the 2000s onwards, it had an active participation in the consolidation of legal metrology in Brazil, contributing technically to standards that structured measurement in Oil & Gas and its derivatives activities. Since then, the company has been continuously working in the adaptation, maintenance and monitoring of measurement systems on platforms and FPSOs, through its branch in Macaé (RJ).
In 2015, it expanded its portfolio with the development of equipment aimed at fuel charging and distribution bases, incorporating advanced technologies for measurement, control and automation of systems.
Today, with more than three decades of experience, Metroval has tens of thousands of meters sold, measurement systems in operation and thousands of customers served in Brazil and abroad. This trajectory has consolidated the company as a specialist in metrological management, focusing on data reliability, measurement accuracy and the peace of mind of those who depend on secure information to conduct industrial processes.
