The ID Series of Point Interface Detectors, manufactured by Agar Corporation, are used for measurementand control of interfaces in all types of liquid/liquid and vapor/liquid separation processes, including emulsionsand foams. Advanced control capabilities can be used to automate disturbance responses, feed systems for defoaming and demulsifier chemicals, and eliminate cross-contamination from separation phases.
Available in different configurations, including 2-wire version with HART communication, the system offers high reliability, easy integration into control systems and increased operational efficiency.
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE ID SERIES:
ID-200 Series (Conventional): It is the classic interface detection system. It requires external power (AC or DC) and offers a wide range of local outputs, including 4-20 mA signal, relay contacts (SPDT) for level alarms, and local light indicators (LEDs) for quick visual identification of the active phase (oil or water).
ID-200H Series (HART / 2-wire): It represents the technological evolution of the line. It is a system powered directly by the 2-wire loop powered, which drastically simplifies the wiring infrastructure. It has built-in HART communication for remote configuration, calibration and advanced field diagnostics.
