Through electrical or pneumatic actuation, the piston-type manifold head captures precise sample volumes (1cc or 2cc grabs) at a frequency of up to 60 samples per minute for short transfers. The self-compensating sealing system eliminates the need for external relief valves in operations up to 1,500 PSI. The entire mechanical structure (stem, flange, body and actuator) is manufactured from high-strength materials, making it a robust solution for offshore platforms, offloading lines, storage terminals and polyducts.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN SERIES AND MODELS:

Metroval offers four main models of samplers to suit different flow rates, pipe diameters and installation layouts:

• ASM-MI01 (Manual Insertion): Sampling probe with manual insertion mechanism, adjustable for various pipe diameters. Allows installation in pressurized process sockets (up to 3 kgf/cm²) via a shut-off valve, without interrupting the flow.
• ASM-AI01 (Automatic Insertion): Sampling probe with integrated automatic insertion mechanism. Designed for safe insertion and retraction in lines with high process pressure (pressurized to up to 210 kgf/cm²).
• ASM-HF01 (Reinforced for High Flow): Structurally reinforced sampling probe, designed to be immune to severe vibrations in process lines with extremely high flow rates, such as platform ship offloading (FPSO) operations.
• ASM-FL01 (Fast Loop / By-pass): Automatic sampling cell type sampler designed specifically for installation in bypass lines (by-pass or fast loop), ideal for smaller diameter pipes (1″ to 3″).

• Level Instrumentation:
  • Level Switches: Prevent overflow of reservoirs by sending automatic alarms to the control system when the capacity limit is reached.
  • Level Transmitters and Local Indicators: Allow continuous visual and electronic monitoring of the accumulated volume in real time, facilitating the planning of laboratory collection routines.
• Homogenization and Circulation Systems: Available in built-in or remote configurations (with dedicated recirculation pumps), they keep the sample perfectly mixed and homogeneous within the reservoir, avoiding the decantation of water and sediment prior to laboratory analysis.
• Air-Conditioned and Protected Cabinets: Robust cabinets made of GRP or Stainless Steel, equipped with internal heating systems to preserve the temperature of the fluid and prevent freezing or phase separation in environments with extreme climatic conditions.
