The AXIOM MMF Series Coriolis Mass Meter, manufactured by Metroval, represents the new generation of mass meters based on the Coriolis Effect, developed with 100% national technology and consultancy from renowned British universities. Designed to directly and simultaneously measure the mass flow, density and temperature of fluids, the instrument also allows the indirect measurement of volumetric flow and concentrations (such as °Brix, Baume and °INPM), consolidating itself as a complete and high-performance solution for the control of industrial processes.
Composed of sensors from the SMT family and the sophisticated MTM-01-M electronic transmitter with DSP (Digital Signal Processing) technology, the AXIOM MMF stands out for its accuracy. Its innovative design is self-draining when installed vertically, which prevents the accumulation of residues and facilitates the cleaning of the system. The great competitive advantage of this line is its low pressure loss, optimizing the energy efficiency of the plant without compromising the precision required in critical operations.
The AXIOM MMF is a mass meter based on the Coriolis effect, in which the lag between the sensing coils is proportional to the mass flow rate and the vibration frequency of the measuring tubes is proportional to the density of the fluid.
The system is composed of SMT family sensors associated with the MTM-01M Electronic Transmitter, equipped with DSP – Digital Signal Processing technology, and can be supplied in full or remote versions.
It serves a wide operating range, with flow capacities ranging from 0.9 kg/min to 17,333 kg/min and process connections from 1/4″ to 16″. The equipment supports process temperatures from -20 °C to +210 °C. Its calibration is carried out in its own laboratories accredited by INMETRO (ISO-17025), ensuring metrological traceability. The MTM-01-M transmitter offers integrated operating diagnostics and multiple communication options, including Modbus RTU (RS-485), HART and configurable analog/digital outputs.
