KOSO VECTOR™ control valves have been developed for severe applications that require high reliability, operational stability and long service life. Using the exclusive VECTOR™ technology, they control the velocity of the fluid throughout the entire valve stroke, significantly reducing the effects of cavitation, flashing, erosion, vibration and noise, even in extreme operating conditions.

Available in different TRIM configurations and designed according to the specific requirements of each application, KOSO VECTOR™ valves provide precise flow control, wide rangeability and increased operational availability, and are widely used in the oil and gas, petrochemical, power generation and other critical industrial process sectors.

Eliminates the effects of cavitation and flashing

VECTOR™ technology divides the flow into multiple channels and controls its velocity, drastically reducing cavitation and flashing formation. This protects the valve body and internals, increasing its service life and operational reliability.

Noise and vibration reduction

The multi-stage internal path of VECTOR™ technology gradually dissipates fluid energy, minimizing noise, vibrations and mechanical stresses on the valve and piping, even in severe applications.

High control range

TRIM VECTOR™ provides a wide range of flow control, with a range of up to 300:1, allowing you to control from minimum flow rates to maximum capacity with a single valve and eliminating, in many applications, the need for parallel start-up valves.

KOSO VECTOR™ valves utilize a labyrinthine multi-stage TRIM, designed to control fluid velocity along the entire internal valve path. Unlike conventional trims, where much of the energy dissipation occurs at a single point, VECTOR™ technology gradually distributes the pressure drop over several stages, reducing fluid velocity and promoting progressive control of flow energy.

This approach allows you to act on the cause of the problems, and not just on their effects. Instead of simply resisting the damage caused by cavitation, flashing, erosion, vibration and noise, VECTOR™ technology was developed to prevent these phenomena from forming or reaching levels capable of compromising the integrity of the valve and the system. The unique labyrinthine path, composed of multiple channels and successive changes of direction, dissipates the energy of the fluid in a controlled manner, protecting the internal components and significantly increasing their useful life.

Designed for severe applications, TRIM VECTOR™ offers high performance in processes with high temperatures, large pressure differentials and high energy fluids. Available in different configurations of flow characteristics and high rangeability, it allows the valve to be adapted to the specific conditions of each application, providing greater operational stability, reliability and process availability.
